About
The beginnings of Florian's artistic path began with Ballroom dance and amateur theatre in Upper Austria before his passion grew to find new possibilities and freedom to let movement speak. So, he studied Dance and Musical Theatre at Bird College in London, followed by further research in Performance in Hamburg.
Florian is an Austrian Dancer currently based in Essen, Germany where he graduated from the Folkwang University of the Arts. Beside his work as an independent performer, Florian is actively collaborating with other artists on physical theatre work to bring forward own creations whilst learning in exchange with others. His interest lies in the body as a poetic, sensational and expressive instrument with the necessity to react.
After the first steps in his career, Florian is seeking to continue to establish his unique movement language and bring together different aspects of physical expression in his body.
